Returns & Refunds Policy

No returns or exchanges are accepted on any purchases made at Cape Breton Trailer Sales Ltd., whether in-store or online. Please review all product information carefully before purchasing and contact us with any questionsâour team is here to help you choose the right trailer, RV, part, or accessory the first time.
Damaged or Defective Items
While we do not accept returns for change of mind, if your item arrives damaged or is defective out of the box, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
We will assist with:

Inspecting the item,

Reviewing photos and details provided, and
-
Coordinating a remedy permitted by the manufacturer or applicable law (which may include repair, replacement, or warranty support).
When reaching out, please include:

Invoice or order number,
-
Clear photos of the damage/defect and packaging,

A brief description of the issue,
-
Your preferred contact information.
Vehicle (RV & Trailer) Purchases
Sales of new and pre-owned trailers and RVs at Cape Breton Trailer Sales Ltd. are final upon delivery and/or registration.
Any post-delivery concerns will be handled through:

Applicable manufacturer warranties, and
-
Our service department, subject to inspection and warranty terms.
Normal wear and tear, maintenance items, and damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications are not covered unless specifically stated by the manufacturer.
Order Cancellations
Orders that:

Have entered processing,
-
Have shipped, or
-
Are special-order/custom items,
cannot be cancelled.
Deposits on:
-
Custom factory orders, or
-
Units undergoing pre-delivery inspection (PDI)
may be non-refundable, as outlined in your signed purchase agreement.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are considered final sale:

Electrical components and installed parts,
-
Special-order/custom items,
-
Clearance or âfinal saleâ merchandise,
-
Opened, used, or improperly installed items not covered by warranty.
Warranties
Many trailers, RVs, parts, and accessories are covered by a manufacturerâs warranty. Cape Breton Trailer Sales Ltd. can help facilitate warranty claims; however, all coverage decisions and remedies are determined by the manufacturer.
Please retain your proof of purchase and warranty documentation.
